It was somehow to difficult and awkword and expensive getting to Biarritz and as we wanted to go afterwards to Austria we thought it would be a good idea to visit Slovenija as it is in the neighbourhood of Austria ... here we go :-)
Part one: 15.08. - 19.08.2016

Our first station was the camping of Bled - 5* ... didn´t know that campsites are given stars...
Lake Bled ... there is a small island in the middle which you can reach by boat ... we wanted to swim to the island but didn´t make it in the end because ...

Signing the mountain summit book under the black ceiling ... guess what happend afterwards: film break, we got a heavy shower with light effects from heaven

Yes Andrea, the weather was BLED (in German slang that means "stupid") and it was bled too that the next hut was like 1h walking. But we made it and the mountains were really beautiful... worth the two hour shower
At the campsite ... some people were really creative in decorating their tents ... but honestly, would never carry such stuff with me for vacation. You might not see them but they had some teddy bears hanging down the canopy
Nest stop: The capital of Slovenija, Ljublijana
Everyone who feels hot, can take a shower in the city center ... they are making their own weather. They have some programmed pipelines over this place ... it doesn´t matter weather you´re "lucky" or not, you get wet :-).

Part two: 26.08. - 28.06.2016
...we came back to Slovenija to visit the famous Postojnska Caves. ...we´we been a few years before to a similar cave in south Italy and the guide there told us that we HAVE to visit this one ... so we did
Ladies and Gentleman: The Postojnska Cave (23 km long)
It first took us a 20 minutes ride by train to get in the deepness of the cave and than we had a 2h guided tour.

Hudicevec: The best pension ever. Tasty meal and a huge flat for the two of us. It was luxury having two separate sleeping rooms after so many nights of tenting.

The neopren suit was really necessary cause the water was icy, chilly, frosty ... there are not enough words to describe how cold it was :-)
it´s a pity that we didn´t have a waterproof cam for taking pics while wild rafting...
